A Little Bit About Me...

My B.A. is in History and Social Behavioral Science. This encompasses Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Economics and Political Science. After graduating second in my class with a 3.9 GPA, I started working for the Art Institute of Chicago. During the last five years, I have worked with children of all ages and at all developmental levels. I also have been responsible for grading coursework in all subjects in the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained my associate’s degree at Prairie State College in 1997. I received the honor of Valedictorian by my high educational standards of earning a 4.0 GPA. My main focus was to learn as much as possible in the sciences, such as biology, anatomy, chemistry, and microbiology. During my last full-time semester at Prairie State, I started a full-time curriculum at Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Worsham has a two year schedule condensed into one year. I earned a 96.32% GPA diploma and moved on to receive my Illinois Professional Funeral Director and Embalming License in 1998. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Golden Apple Scholar of Illinois, my passion for teaching is constantly growing and requires much experience. I have taught summer school classes and taught many lessons at the schools I've observed for my clinical practice. Overall, I have completed 120 hours of clinical experience while teaching part-time at a Learning Center, where I've tutored students in Beginning Reading, Reading, Study Skills, and Mathematics.
