A Little Bit About Me...

I search for the light bulb that hasn't yet gone off in my students. Rote memorization by my students just to get a grade doesn't satisfy me, although that happens with some. I thoroughly enjoy the intellectual challenge of trying to stimulate my students and interest them in the learning process. I probe; I question; I challenge; I confront. If the student doesn't "get it", then my first assumption is that I'm not doing something right, and I need to try again. I may fail, but not for lack of trying or interest!
I have extensive experience in all areas of corporate accounting and financial and cost analysis as a management consultant and line manager. A Little Bit About Me...

I truly enjoy working with children and would love to go back to school and obtain my Masters in education. I feel that each child has their own way of connecting to education and it's a magic moment when you, the teacher, find and help them utilize that connection.
