More than a teacher student method, I would like to have an interactive mode of teaching. At the end of the session, the student should get a hold of basic concepts which will enable him or her to tackle any problems.
For my undergraduate studies in India, I chose Electronics and Communication as my specialisation. My areas of interests during my undergraduate degree includes Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communication and Embedded programming. I have always been keen on programming. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I feel the need for tutoring is the need to simply obtain information in a form that is different from the one presented in the classroom. As a tutor, I work to break things down into their constituent pieces and explain each of these pieces in turn. This is a more time-intensive method of instruction, of course, as the breaking down of information is totally dependent on the way it must be done for it to make sense to the student. Tutoring allows this method to be used, as one-on-one, this method is just as quick as the standard schoolroom methods.
