My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Style is personal. I will help you develop a style for creative writing in prose or for commercial use.

I believe in assessments to determine a childs strengths and weaknesses. I would want to have previous class work and homework assignments and determine deficiencies in a given area. I want to understand what the teacher is doing from this work. It is helpful to understand why you or your child is not being as successful as possible. Often your child's teacher is trying different strategies with computers or in class tutoring. I will improve this approach with one to one teaching in my office or in a library setting.

As a late bloomer to my education, I understand the importance of completeing an education at the earliest time. I currently hold a BS degree in business with an emphasis on international markets. This degree has helped me to better understand and appreciate economics, business math and accounting. In pusuit of this I have written papers from a 2 page summary to an 80 page thesis. A Little Bit About Me...

I think it takes a lot for one teacher to reach all of types of students who are all at different levels of interest in the subject being taught as well as at different levels of understanding. However, I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to give them all equal opportunity to learn. It is not just about grades and assignments, that is just the means to an end, but it is about learning. In order for the students to learn, the teacher needs to be passionate about the students as well as the subject that is being taught. That will instill in the students a desire to learn and understand.
In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear.
