My comments on tutoring Chinese : I used to be a host in China, which means I can speak standard Chinese without local accent because standard mandarin is a basic skill to a Chinese host. I also obtained mandarin degree in China. Now I am here to study broadcasting in the United States. I worked as a Chinese tutor before teaching some American students to speak mandarin.

I usually combine Chinese culture with the language to teach students who want to learn Chinese. People can know how to use authentic Chinese.

However, I was born and grew up in Beijing, China. So I speak very standard Mandarin in my whole life. I came to this country in 1990 to join my husband because of his advanced studies here.
