I have a passion for teaching others and spreading my knowledge- I enjoy not only helping a student to understand, but to also become a mentor. I have been tutoring since middle school, and throughout high school. Since I have been in college, I have been eager to tutor again. My knowledge is mostly in high school and college biology, anatomy, and physiology. Throughout college, many of my friends and classmates came to me with questions or help, because I am good at simplifying the material and making it understandable on a basic level.
I am a visual learner and work well with other visual learners. Attending and graduating from Davidson College, a small liberal arts college in NC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry was an extremely rewarding experience. I found that the college groomed their students by emphasizing analytical skills--both scientific and literary--and giving back to the community through both service and volunteerism. As a college student, I tutored students in mathematics courses up to Multivariable Calculus and chemistry students up to Organic Chemistry.
