I am a Kent State University graduate with a minor in Japanese. I also spent a semester abroad in Japan and have experience being immersed in the language and culture. I many credit hours of pedagogy and teaching methodology classes, both for Teaching ESL and Latin, and a semester of student teaching under my belt. During my final year as an undergrad, I did a multimedia timeline project on the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, which included ten newspaper article translations from Japanese to English that were included in the project.
