From elementary school to college I have loved education and learning which has been exemplified by my gifted and honors status. I have earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, which has strengthened me in the areas of math and science. I have classroom experience at the elementary and secondary level. While working on my AA degree I worked at a high school in a Language Arts class. My style of teaching, especially with tutoring, is to find out what kind of learner my student is: tacit, oral, or verbal. Then the lesson style can be geared to that, while leading the student to become more aware of the other abilities and options. Also, it is imperative that students understand why they are learning what is being presented to them.
