German is one of my top subjects! I am a native German and am fluent in English and have studied French, Spanish, and Arabic before. Thanks to my years of studying foreign languages, I don't just know the German language as a native speaker but can also teach you how to learn the language and its grammar successfully.

My goal is to help you achieve your goals from improving your communication skills to reading, reading-comprehension, writing, and listening skills. My teaching approach will be tailored to your needs as well as your current skill level, and age. I like to incorporate various different methods to ensure new topics are repeated in different ways and are memorized easier - often including a more playful approach than just learning grammar and vocabulary by heart. I absolutely enjoy teaching and the fun I have with each lesson will translate to you enjoying new things with me.

My experience has included eight years in public and private schools in the USA and four years in an international school in Germany. During these years of teaching I taught elementary fourth and fifth, middle school 7-9 grades with varied subjects, and also high school for Bible as Literature. Since I lived overseas, learned the language there and had taught, I had the opportunity to work as an ESL tutor for 5 years in the States. In the public school I also have served as a Math and Reading tutor to elementary students for 4 years.
Since children do have different learning styles, I have found that some of your beginning stages with them is figuring out how to effectively work with a student.
