I have been an educator for almost 20 years. I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher and immediately fell in love with teaching children with special needs. Desiring to continue to teach, I finished a Master's degree which gave me the endorsements to teach K-12 children with special needs. Since then, I have taught reading and mathematics to both children with special needs and regular education children at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching individuals of all ages and cultures. I adopt a hands on approach to learning and have extreme patience for slower learners. My main goal during teaching is to help one have a better understanding of the subject by relating to the material. I give my students the information, I show them how to apply the information through modeling, I practice with them and then I release them to apply the technique themselves.
