Since I have worked students with a wide variety of learning issues; I feel that I am well prepared to assess and deliver educational materials and instruction to any student. I understand that each student has his learning style and prefers specific modalities such as: games & puzzles, logical sequential, the arts, naturalistic, etc. Although those would not be the only modalities I would use to educate my students, I feel that I must acknowledge this and respond with a portion of the lessons directed at personal interest. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching children from third grade and up. I am very patient, and easy-going. My goal is get students to see real world applications for each subject I tutor. I teach in an auditory-visual way, to provide the basics necessary for students to reach their potential. I relate to children on their level, and help them to see new ways to look at their work. I always work to make a difference in all of my student's lives.
I became interested in teaching after graduating with my bachelor degree in Broadcast Comm. Arts. I worked in the music industry as a manager where I trained new employees to use the computer software at our company. I also taught a course in music business distribution at SFSU in 2002. I helped to organize our systems and create job descriptions for our company. During the last four years I have tutored students in English, math and science.
