I graduated with a BA from Rhode Island College in 2005, and went back to work on a MA the following fall. I am currently finishing up my degree and should be finished with my MA this spring. During my graduate career I had an assistantship where I helped set up classroom laboratories, aided in teaching then and also tutored students in Biology. As a teacher, it is easy to take for granted certain assumptions and prior knowledge that a student may lack. Each student brings a unique approach and starting point to the learning experience.
