I've helped my little brother who has ADHD with his homework, I've worked with him through book projects, spelling tests, history homework, pretty much anything and everything. I believe that it is possible for all children to have success. I am a firm believer in celebrating even small successes. My approach to working with children is to use materials that interest and relate to the child. I believe that this helps each child realize the importance of their learning. I use hands-on, hearts-on, minds-on activities whenever possible so that children internalize what they are learning.
