I strive to help the child discover the potential that is in them. I do this by patiently and calmly introducing methods and activities in a fun light environment. Positive reinforcement is paramount to a student that feels unsure or that is falling behind. Of all the students in the school who surpassed the required State testing and higher District goals in both reading and math, 75% came from my class, as did the winners of the school's essay contest, spelling bee and geography competition. My first career was in medicine where I gave direct care, taught military/civilian classes and participated extensively in research, gaining a deep understanding of science biology and chemistry and human A&P.

As "stay at home" mom of 6, I have used my two Bachelors' degrees for the education of my own children.
