As an graduate, I have always wanted to earn my degree in Business. Once I received my BA, I wanted more so I continued my educations and received my MBA. Both degrees are in Business Administration. A Little Bit About Me...

I would say that my teaching style is very interactive. Anyone can give instructions but I love feedback from a one on one situation as well as a group environment. I base alot of my instruction on analogies; when a person can relate an experience or another word to a term being tought, their understanding is broadened and 99% of the time embedded in the longterm memory. That to me is not only developing the ability to draw on a built up knowledge base, but also broadens ones ability to convey what has been learned.
I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I believe in talking through problems using visual ideas and simplified concepts. I prefer teaching with graphics and concepts, and then relating them to formulas and equations. While I expect hard work from my students, I also have the patience to help them understand at their own pace.
I am a currently a working civil engineer specializing in bridge design (steel and concrete structures). I received scores of 760 in Math on both the SAT I and II, and a score of 800 in Math on the GRE's. I have taken several high level calculus, engineering mathematics, and statistics classes at the University of Delaware, aside from receiving a 5 on both the Calculus and the Statistics AP Exams. As a re-founding member and President of the Syracuse University chapter of the National Society of Pershing Rifles (www.pershingriflessociety.org) I was responsible for the planning and instruction of between 12 and 20 students in the areas of Leadership, Project Management, Exhibition Drill and Wilderness Survival.
