While at Purdue, I studied English literature and writing (academic and creative). I began college studying English education. This gave me experience in the classroom at the observation level. I pursued courses exploring classroom techniques, dynamics, and the incorporation of technology. My minor in Communication introduced me to Associated Press style and improved my copy editing skills.
