My comments on tutoring American History : Have completed 7 courses on American History/Government

Most all of my experience in life has been in business, Corporate America. However, I have always been a teacher at heart. I spent several years as a student tutor while I was attending college, both in the classroom and during my online courses. I have instructed many of my fellow employees while on the job. Most of this instruction has come in the form of teaching new job responsibilities to seasoned employees, as well as teaching new employees the basics of their jobs.
I believe that a student should have the time to figure things out on their own, but with guidance from their tutor or teacher. I think I should provide a student with all the tools they need, and then through example I will teach a student to figure things out for themselves. I am a fall graduate from Troy University and will be graduating with honors. I am currently a peer tutor at Troy in biology and math (algebra). I have tutored privately before in high school math (algebra and geometry. I graduated 9th in my high school with honors earning an advanced diploma with an honor's seal. while going to college full time i also filled in for teachers that were out for the day. I was for Eufaula City Schools. I was available for Henry County (Abbeville City Schools) as well. I took four years of college. Now I have a lot of extra class I took that I did not need but I am more diverse in helping your child(ren).

As a graduate student at the University of Alabama I instructed 3 college level physical geography laboratory sections per semester. This experience sharpened my communication skills and provided a valuable new perspective on the learning process. I was also employed as a tutor for the University's Athletic Department.
