My comments on tutoring Psychology : My bachelor's degree is in Psychology.

I received a 34 on the reading section of the ACT and a 32 on the English section. I am graduating in May with a BS in Psychology at the University of Kentucky. I have had tutoring experiences with a wide range of ages, from middle school students to college students. I currently tutor college students and am hoping to expand my tutoring services.
I like to make learning an interactive process as I believe students are more likely to retain what they learn when they have an active role in their success of understanding the material. Experienced Tutor with Expertise in Math and Social Science

I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. My specialty quickly became preparation for standardized tests as well as calculus because I have a unique ability to discover how each student learns and tailor the lessons to their needs. Young inexpensive tutor with modernized teaching strategies

By working with elementary students I have exhibited that I am capable of vast patience, so I am willing to work as long as the student would require. I teach every student different, so my initial goal would be to learn about the student and find out their favorite methods of instruction.

I have a lot of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored for about 10 years now, starting with my fellow classmates while still in school and now tutoring one-on-one, mostly for elementary-aged children. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Berea College, I was given an opportunity to utilize the skills I learned at that institution. I have earned a bachelor degree in Psychology, which help me hone the statistical and research knowledge I now have. I am going to continue my work in psychology to work toward my master's degree at EKU in general psychology.
