I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade. We had a healthy competitive spirit that helped us grown into productive adults. I first began tutoring in an afterschool program in 1995. I have always loved assisting students with learning. I taught 8th through 10th grade at a Christian School in Ludowici. I taught every subject, but never a math course higher then Algebra 1.
I am a firm believer that the best way to learn varies from subject to subject. When I taught math my view was that the best way to teach was to break everything down into a step by step process and have the students memorize the process. Most other subjects can be learned through repitition, but math requires everything to be broken down.
