Through all of my work related experience, teaching has been the one thing that I loved and felt completely comfortable doing. I enjoy working with, and teaching, kids, especially in Math. I teach with creative tactics, when necessary, to drive home a concept. I am patient with kids (hey, I have 3 of my own!), and find it rewarding when I can make a difference. During my Junior and Senior year of college, I tutored at a Children's Home in Lubbock, TX, 3 nights a week. I am a professional scientist and certified teacher in Mathematics and Physics, holding a Missouri State CPC certificate in both areas (valid for 99 years). I have been teaching Regular and College Physics classes at the high school level. Currently, I am teaching Physical and Earth Sciences, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry and Trigonometry. I am also able to teach calculus. I have been taking classes at UMKC to complete the Teacher Education Program.
