I am a certified teacher, with 25+ years experience as a special ed teacher, tutor, and homebound instructor for PK- grade 12. I have a B.S. Degree in Special Education K-12, an M.Ed. degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and a graduate certificate program qualifying me as an Assistive Technology Specialist. My most recent job provided me with experience developing and providing training to teachers and students, especially regarding modifications and adaptations that would facilitate inclusion of children with disabilities in the regular curriculum. I also know that kids have their own distinct personalities and I address each child as an individual person, with their own talents and ideas. There is nothing better than when a person's face lights up, young or old, when they "get it."
