I have been a teacher and tutor for over 15 years, specifically in private schools. The first student I tutored (as an elementary student) has graduated from dental school and has his own practice! My background in science and math, as well as human psychology, enables me not only to teach the curriculum, but also to understand those academic areas which are common roadblocks to many students. Teaching is such a rewarding experience. It is an amazing feeling when you help a student learn something that they previously had been struggling with. Although I have used Expert and Formal formats, I prefer to incorporated Personal and Facilitator styles. Personal establishes a prototype for how to think and behave.
