I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. I have a bachelor's degree in English from Tulane University, and I've also started my teacher certification. While I was in college, I worked in three local charter schools tutoring kids in grades 1-8 in reading, as well as helping them with language arts, math, social studies, and writing skills as needed. I got to take classes on early childhood education in subjects such as children's literacy and classroom management, and I even wrote my own children's book!
