I have numerous years of experience substitute teaching. In the Belvidere, Il District I taught mainly special education student. In the 2003-2004 school year I taught half time physical education to at risk high school students at the Regional Learning Center in Rockford. While working as a swimming instructor at J.J. Champions in Pecitonica I taught an Autistic boy how to swim. I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.
