I am a high school teacher of 25.5 years. I graduated from Mobile College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and from Alabama State University with a Master's degree, both in education. My experience has been working with students that are academically disadvantaged. I have tutored elementary students in reading and language for over 10 years. It is my ultimate goal to see that each student strengthens/increase their areas of weaknesses in reading and language.
I'm a firm believer that all children are different, yet, all are capable of learning. I have always had a passion for working with and teaching children. I tend to have a facilitator teaching style by focusing on student-centered learning and activities. I am aware of all different learning styles and gladly accommodate them when working with different children.
