My comments on tutoring Geometry : I have studied math myself and tutored other students throughout high school and college, through Calculus III.

I have tutored a wide variety students on many subjects. I am most experienced tutoring high school students for the SAT. Learn from the basics

I have taught several students in India, and I am quite properly understand the knowledge and the background required to teach subjects. I was myself a college topper and a school gold medalist. Hence I can teach and inculcate the knowledge of teaching in students. Learning maths and science is something very elementary if understood from the basics and in-depth. Thus it is very important that a student should learn, read and write all in-depth. This learning curve is something that I have tried to develop in myself from years to come and hope to imbibe the knowledge of it in several other students. I had got 167/170 in my GRE thus the basics of my maths is quite strong. I have even taught several students in India about how to crack this exam and helped several for cracking this exam too. My comments on tutoring Geometry : As a sophomore in high school, I doubled up my math credits so as to take both Geometry and Algebra II at the same time. This was when I truly gained an appreciation for mathematics and the beauty therein. Geometry is a very intriguing field, and sparked my personal interest in mathematics. For that reason, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Geometry. Sentimentality aside, Geometry is a highly applicable field in both technical and non-technical areas. Much of the art of aesthetics hinges on geometric design and understanding the principals of proportion and congruency. From a technical standpoint, geometry unlocks the means by which students can visualize, conceptualize, and ultimately understand even the most complex and daunting of math problems. The understanding of geometry is fundamental in understanding much of the math that comes afterwards.

First off I approach learning with a degree of understanding for the student, I have found not all students learn at the same pace and have the same strengths and weakness. I like to build the strengths and bring up the weakness. A student must want to learn and to take ownership with his or her educational career no matter what the degree is in. I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering.
