As a student-athlete at Illinois State University, I learned many invaluable skills. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Physics as well as minors in both Mathematics and Exercise Science. Earning this degree as well as two minors has allowed me to gain a large amount of knowledge in both science and math. Being a student-athlete also taught me great leadership, hard work, teaching and time management skills. In my final year at Illinois State University, I taught a physics lab course. I have also spent many years coaching which has enabled me to teach concepts in a variety of ways in order to reach many different types of learners.

My vision is to help all students appreciate higher level of science and math education which I believe is a crucial component in the welfare and prosperity of our modern society. My background in earning a master of atmospheric science, bachelor of science degree in physics, radiation and applied physics with minor in mathematics has helped me grasp a well rounded and vast technical knowledge in the areas of science/math. I have a high level of experience in research, problem solving skills, laboratory skills and applications of science in the real world. I had two years of experience as a physics tutor and enjoyed sharing my passion and knowledge in science and math to my students.
