I am Chemical Engineer since 1983 and have been Lecturer at the Universidad Central de Venezuela for more than 30 years. I got my PhD at the Karlsruhe university (today Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). My teaching experience is mainly in Thermodynamics and Transport Phenomena, teaching among others Chemical Engineering Principles, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Separation Processes, Solid-Liquid Separations, Particle Technology. I have also some industrial experience in the alumina industry where have been process engineer during the plant expansion from 1.3 to 2.0 MMTPY at the end of the 80's. Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter.
