I have three years experience teaching in the best language schools in the world, including Berlitz International, CNA Language Schools, Brazil, and TAG IDIOMA, Brazil. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Science and a Minor in Public Health. I worked for USF Housing and Residential Education. I also was a Peer Leader for Chemistry where I was basically a Teaching Assistant and led two sections by myself.
I like the child to feel comfortable with me to where they are at ease and readily ask questions. I prefer to ask the student leading questions to aide them in coming to the conclusion on their own as opposed to simply telling them information. After a few questions have been answered then I am able to help them with the details of problem and a help them build a method for solving similar problems in the future.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate I started to tutor Chemistry in 2007. Since then I have tutored Chemistry to many different students in one-on-one and large group sessions. I have submitted by certification to be accepted by the State of Florida Department of Education and am awaiting confirmation. While in college I made straight A's for about 3 years, excelling in the sciences. I am very experienced with General Chemistry labs and lecture sessions. I am currently the Science Teacher at the First Academy Classical School program where I teach Biology and Chemistry part-time.
I love to cater to each students needs. That's why I love tutoring because I can do this. Some students are visual learners, some learn by hearing, and some by doing. I incorporate all of these into my tutoring. I want to see all of my students not only get good grades but to truly grasp the concepts.

A Little Bit About Me...

I was a music specialist for one semester. It was a great experience that I truly enjoyed. I taught grades K-5. I was responsible for creating my own lesson plans and activities for the 40 minutes of music class. I introduced recorders to the 5th grade. Then I put together a booklet for them to teach themselves how to play more songs. They looked forward to working on this summer project independently. I tutored 5th and a 3rd graders this last year. A fifth grade student of mine was falling behind in her work load and brought home a below average report card during the first quarter of school. After my help her grades climbed to almost the A/B honor roll. Her parents were pleased with her improved grades, attitude, and self concept.

I love to teach others and enjoy the feeling of knowing that someone is learning somthing new. The most satisfaction comes out of seeing a student apply what they have learned, and actually make a difference. I believe that every person has the necessary potential to do anything that life brings; sometimes, they just need the extra push to do it. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy being around others that love to learn. I pride myself in my skills and never turn someone down that is willing to learn. I believe that any student can learn what they want to learn if they are given a good chance and the right experiences.
I have been taking math classes since my freshman year in high school. Math is by far my favorite subject. I have taken everything from pre-algebra to calculus, including Statistics. I am currently working as a Mechincal Engineer and would love to assist others with their math needs. I am also very advanced in the use of AutoCAD/Drafting for Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and Surveying.
