I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities. I had typical students visit my classroom every week to read to my students. I did leave Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 one year to teach in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. A Little Bit About Me...

I love children. While attending high school and college I babysat several children from four months old up to 13 years old. During My senior year of high school I was a teachers aid for A freshman level art class and would often work one on one with students who had questions or needed some extra help. I don't have any professional experience with teaching children but I would love to gain some.
I am hard working, patient and loyal. I gave the few children I have cared for and worked with a lot of wiggle room in order to express themselves.
