I have student teaching experience in the elementary school setting and was an middle school English teacher in South Korea for two years. I studied Elementary Education during my undergraduate. I like to get to know each individual and find out how they learn. From there I can figure out what will work for them and what won't. I have tutored individuals in grades 1-12 in various subject areas. I have been encouraged to pursue English, Writing, and Journalism as professions because of my talent in each area. I have tested at least 4 grade levels above my grade level since I began taking standardized tests. I have the ability to disect subjects in a way that makes learning fun and understandable.

My teaching style varies upon subject and student. I graduated from Jefferson High School in the spring of 2012. I now attend Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. I have two younger siblings and 4 younger step-siblings that I have helped with their homework, or helped them better understand material assigned to them. Their ages range from 8-17. I know how to explain certain subjects in multiple ways to ensure that eventually the student will understand the material. I am very patient, and I understand that some people learn at slower rates than others. I am majoring in nursing, though I considered teaching English before making this decision.
