I love watching children's eyes light up from learning and this is what I strive for with every teaching moment. I know that children become discouraged when they do not acquire the skills other students seem to master almost immediately. I know that parents become equally discouraged when they want their child to succeed but do not know how to help them do so. Many students need more time, attention, and hands on experiences in order to be successful. I desire for all students to find the love of learning because they find they can be successful.

Coming from a smaller school, I understand the importance of one on one communication and teaching. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. I also received a minor in Interdisciplinary studies through the Honor's College at UCA. I wrote several different research papers in Psychology, excelled in critical thinking and symbolic logic courses in philosophy, and also completed an undergraduate thesis through the Honor's college. I would be able to improve any child's critical thinking and writing skills.
