My greatest satisfaction is found in helping youth. I strongly believe that education is one of the strongest foundations that one can have. I enjoy working one on one, providing the necessary encouragement and support that all children need to be successful. I am caring and patient. My ultimate teaching goal is to enable the child to become academically successful without the teacher.
While attending Lenoir Community College, I was named to the Dean's List several semesters, named Outstanding Student of the Month, and listed in Who's Who Among Junior College Students. I feel as though every child can achieve the impossible, and with the help of someone giving them the attention that they deserve and need, they will feel better about themselves as well. I want to get a child in a learning mood where they'll want to go to school everyday and learn something. I want to be an inspiration to them or a role model or someone they can look up to for advice so that they can follow in my footsteps as far as finishing high school and continuing education to strive and be the best that they can be.
