A huge part of this is being very transparent about where the student starts, what our goals are for where they are going, and how they are doing along the way. I love working with students to figure out what gets them excited and how they learn best so I can incorporate these strategies into my teaching. I know that by getting students interested and excited about their education, I am helping create lifelong learners who are on a great path in school and in life!
