I am a retired anesthesiologist and practiced for 28 years. Before that, I was in family practice for five years. I went to the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a bachelors degree in pre-professional studies. I then went to Midwestern Medical School in Chicago and received my anesthesia training at the New Jersey School of Medicine and Dentistry. I also studied an extra year in pediatric anesthesia as a sub-speciality. I am also a massage therapist with specialty training in lymph drainage and abhyanga. I really enjoy working with students on an individual basis. I have found that some students feel embarrassed about asking questions while surrounded by classmates. The one-on-one environment helps the student open up and truly benefits the student. Therefore, it is important to me to create a welcoming setting where the student will feel comfortable. Through my teaching experiences, I have observed that most students have trouble figuring out how to start chemistry problems. I am a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Wildlife Conservation Biology.
