I taught in the inner city of Pittsburgh as reading tutor. In Columbus I taught music, reading, special education, and all other subjects from Preschool through high school. I tutored Whitehall high school students in their homes. I enjoyed teaching almost every day in different school districts for years. Education is a very powerful tool. I enjoy seeing students progress from square one to fully capable musicians. I have been teaching privately for the past two years giving private instruction in piano, french horn, and harp. I will be completing my bachelors in music performance from Ohio State this spring. I also give tutoring in music theory for interested students.
I encourage all of my students to abandon what they think they should know for what they already know, and to take it from there. I am a very patient instructor for adult beginners.
