I believe that the role of a teacher is to capture the curiosity of students by providing them with lessons and activities that require them to think outside of the box. Such activities should be hands-on and encourage the students to use their senses. I agree with John Dewey, the famous education philosopher, who believes that it is beneficial when teachers use experiential learning because it engages students and presents them with direct experience and focused reflection, which in turn, increases knowledge, develops skills, and clarifies values. A Little Bit About Me...

One place I belong is teaching and working with children. Anyone that knows me and that has worked with me would probably say that. I don't teach right now due to a desire to develop a real estate career so that I can end up in the classroom. Having said that, I really enjoy teaching. I am patient as all students are different in their processings, experiences and personalities. I am energetic and funny as I find that is a great way to connect with children.
