I am currently a graduate student in a Clinical Counseling Program. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2002 with a 3.89 GPA, my current graduate GPA is 4.0. I have previously worked as a Substitute Teacher and Remedial Reading Tutor for fifth and sixth graders while in college. I have worked as a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Pastor for teenagers. My goal is to help children in any context that I can. Although I have my sights set on being a pediatric neurologist, my vision encompasses more than this end. There are many arrays of learning styles. I personally use visually, writing, and seeing the bigger picture. First, the mind can develop a concept or help map out the ideas by seeing the picture to the learning task. Second writing helps to reinforce the concept or idea. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my education, I learned easy ways to teach myself concepts. I have a BS in Biology and a Master’s in Public Administration. These degrees as well as my research experience have taught me analytical and writing skills. I have taken Calculus I, Calculus II, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Statistics. I have tutored students in these subjects in addition to Biology and Biochemistry on and off for the past ten years.
For some children, some subjects are hard to understand. Children can get frustrated just by not being able to understand the subject matter.
