My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : I am knowledgeable in all elementary subjects and have over 7 years of experience working with elementary students assisting them with their studies either one on one or in a small group.
I am a CT state certified teacher with over 7 years of experience working with elementary grade students. I had spent 3 years as a teacher's assistant in an after school program for Education Connection, in Newtown, CT. My duties included assisting students as a tutor with their homework, mentoring, monitoring them during play time, etc..
I have also spent 10 months working as an intern at Regan Elementary School, in Waterbury, CT. My duties included covering classrooms for teachers who were absent or in a meeting, and assisting teachers with instruction of students either one on one or in small groups.
