A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. I am a Master's Degree candidate in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. I enjoy students at every level and am amazed at what a difference a year makes in their development. Previously, I worked as a copywriter and I spent a lot of years writing and editing. I really enjoy the one-on-one or small group approach to teaching, which is why tutoring is so appealing to me.
I like to incorporate a sense of humor in my teaching - I believe when children can relax they are much more open to learning. In 2007 I started at Academic Connections Tutoring of Delaware, where I the started tutoring and educating Pre-Calculus, Algebra I and II, Probability and Statistics, College Algebra and Trigonometry, Plane Geometry, Integrated Math I, II, & III, and most recently, Chemistry.
