Spreading knowledge across the world

I'm more of a hands on and visual teacher. I prefer to show than to read because many ideas can come from one sentence. I learn more by drawing out or actually seeing what my teacher is trying to convey.
I am a 17 year old female who has so much talent to share with the people around me. I'm apart of a community service club, I play a variety of instruments, and from my experiences I've gained a lot of wisdom. I may not be certified with a piece of paper to show, but who said that in order to spread knowledge you had to have graduated and attended college? All in all I aim to please and I give 100% because 99 1/2 won't do.

I earned my BA in 2007 and I have been working in a public Montessori school since then. In addition to my current position as Technology Coordinator, I have volunteered as an Odyssey of the Mind coach and I have worked in the after school math and language tutoring program. Although this is only my fourth year working in elementary education, my prior job experience as a program director for a non-commercial college radio station required effective communication skills, patience, and an ability to work with older students. A Little Bit About Me...

I mostly work with adolescents and middle school aged children as an English teacher.Working with students with disabilities has taught me to be patient, considerate and compassionate with diverse groups needing more attention than regular ed children. Each child has a different learning ability and level of comprehension which has to be meet individually in a classroom of 32 kids. I believe fairness is everyone getting their needs met to be provided with the best education possible. Given the opportunity, any child can rise to the occasion and meet and go beyond predetermined goals for life long learning.
