I have taught in the public schools for 14 years in grades Kindergarten and First. I have taught English speaking children as well as Hispanic children whose first language is Spanish. My personal style varies on the pupil. These may vary from simply being frustrated with the curriculum to a myriad of influences. My style is considered out of the box, meaning that if the standard method does not "click" with him/her, then I enjoy finding something of interest to them, to relate that to the subject at hand. Keeping a students interest is paramount to keep them enthusiastic about learning.
