Private and group lessons- Beginner Level Dance!

I have been teaching dance for four years, ranging from groups of 20 young students to private sessions for adults. I typically work with children and am experienced with large groups. I currently teach Ballet and Tap at Ajala Essence Dance Studio in Lansdowne, PA. I was the Performance Coordinator at Abington Friends Summer Enrichment Program in Jenkintown, PA. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I will help you write gramitically correct essays that address any subject area.

My style is based on the student's manner of learning and it is based on repetition of various materials. First, I allow the student to tell me what she or he knows about the subject. From that I can see what he or she has maintained and what style of learning fits the student best. I also like to have students complete problems in a very close manner to the manner that I used to solve similar problems. After I finish one problem, I like her or him to repeat solving the problem and explain why various steps have been taken to solve the problem. This works well for mathematics and it also can works well for writing and for understanding what was read.

Reading is the Key to Success!

My teaching style is flexible. I create a lesson plan that is individualized and benficial to that of the student I am tutoring. I adapt and adjust the curriculum to what is of primary importance to my student.
I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. I have also taught all subject areas to elementary school children. The most memorable and most valuable experience in my career was teaching first graders how to read. It takes a trained professional to be able to lay out the framework children need to learn how to read.
