Hearing Impaired is one of my top subjects! I've had lots of opportunities to learn about and train for interpreting for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

I've graduated from two interpreting training programs from two different colleges in two different states. ASL is a great passion of mine, as is the subject of psychology.I interact with people from the deaf community daily. I just finished interning through the Knoxville Center of the Deaf. I've interpreted at some festivals, a Shakespeare play, church, accounting appointments and some medical appointments.

As a graduate of the University of Georgia, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education and consider myself an avid and life-long learner and a lover of education in all forms. I have earned a bachelors degree, in both English and Anthropology and a certificate in American Sign Language. I have furthered my learning through volunteer positions in my community as well through my chosen career path.
