I have over ten years of experience in the education field in the capacity of teaching. I have a BS in mathematics and a MA in Teaching. I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.

My teaching style is based on reading then reviewing. At that point in time ask questions to see if the student has grasped the information being given. If not, answer questions then clarify. When reviewing information it is important to make sure the student knows reasoning behind subject matter so that they are understanding logic and not just memorizing information. In subjects that invloves math such as probability, chemistry, or statistics, I would do a few examples followed by letting the tutee working a few problems.
