A Little Bit About Me...

During my years as an undergraduate student I tutored many of my fellow classmates in biological sciences including but not limited to the following subject areas: genetics, molecular biology, general biology, human anatomy and physiology and writing intensive requirements. Currently I am a Molecular Biologist with the Agricultural Research Service and thus I am required to keep abreast of scientific knowledge and prepare scientific reports. In addition,I have taken educational psychology and literacy courses that have expanded my knowledge of education.

Being a tutor for grades 6-8 was different because they had the basics. They needed to be informed and focused. Substitute teaching grades K-8 was rather different because the children acted as though they haven't learned anything, so you had to make them feel comfortable.
