My comments on tutoring Drawing : My undergraduate degree is in Visual Arts.

My teaching philosophy starts out with essentialism which believes in a strong core curriculum and high academic standards. I believe it is important to have a strong foundation on which to build upon. After ensuring a strong foundation I tend to lean more towards progressivism. I believe students should be taught what is relevant today while becoming more independent learners, by utilizing problem solving skills and critical thinking. I teach the foundation and build upon that based upon what is relevant in a particular field today. I also include student-centered teaching strategies. I have more than 100 hours of volunteer experience in all fields of area due to being in organizations like Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi and President's Pride throughout my college career. I believe I'm qualified to teach computers because I use it everyday and know basically most of all the Microsoft Office. English/LA and Social Studies probably not as qualified but I know the basics, if I did not I would not have a Bachelor's degree right now.

After receiving my bachelor's degree in Psychology, I started teaching special education while pursuing my Master's degree. I completed my Master's program in 2005 and received my certification in special education in the state of Tennessee. In 2009, I also received my certification in the state of Georgia.
