A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught in classes with adult professionals in the area of design and illustration. I have provided knowledge from the outside professional work froce in which I have givin direction obtained in real life situations in decission making and executing and reaching potential goals in the work arena. I have also shown the prblem solving skills in the classroom to be a proven track to the experience in the day to day assignments expected to achieve in a professional position.
I would prepare the student to advance his or her knowledge to be able to tackle the professional potential in the reality work force, or next level of learning. I believe any- one with the right motivation can reach they're potential with the proper tools being taught as well as the right environment.

I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I have presided over the Parental Acceptance Committee for both Fremont and all five of WSOS HeadStart Counties and all the centers in the School Districts of those counties. I am working on my Associate in Electronics and Computer Technology. I am also working on 17 IT Certificates and 9 Windows Certificates. After I get my ECT Associate I will start working on my BS in Electrical Engineering.

I have been a working graphic designer for most of my life after graduation from Ohio State. After 12 years of design I was asked to participate in an art and education program at Chicago Public Schools Autism Program. I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona. In Arizona I was assigned as an inclusion teacher for 9, 10 11th grade English. I had to accommodate diverse learners and plan instruction. I hold a valid Arizona Cross Catagorical Special Education Certificate that expires August 2013
