I love to incorporate art and sensory experiences into everything I do to really activate the brain. The "Drill and Kill" is very rarely appropriate, so I tailor every approach individually. What works for one student may not work with another. Fun, outgoing teacher of German, History, and Geography

After graduating from the U S Naval Academy, I received my Navy "wings" as a pilot. Following 12 years of service, I became an airline pilot. These experiences have allowed me to travel the world, gaining practical insight into my specialty subjects of history, geography, and German. Since I have entered the teaching profession I have worked with children of all elementary levels. This experience has provided me with the tools to work with all types of children from grades K-5. Since I have graduated from IUP I have worked primarily in an urban setting which has afforded me the opportunity to work with children of various backgrounds from affluent to homeless.
