I'm very hands on and like to show each problem step by step. I like to use a very visual method so that they not only hear what I am teaching, but can see it as well.
I have graduated high school, not only with honors but also in National Honor Society. I am currently enrolled in college and have completed Composition 1 and 2, College Algebra, Pre-Cal, and Statistical Mathematical Methods, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 along with multiple other credits. All can learn, the difference,some just take a little longer

I have been teaching high school math in the San Antonio Texas Charter system. I was hired as a highly qualified teacher and l recently retired in 2012. I believe all students are capable of learning the materials but unfortunately some students need more time or direction. In my fifteen years as a teacher l never felt like l couldn't help any student learn. What l definitely have learned is patient and understanding for those students that l had to help with more time and examples.

I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State in New Hampshire in 1975. I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.
